Press Play presents An evening with Eminence Ensemble, Frequent C and Friends, Common Ties, & American Royalty.
Eminence Ensemble was born and formed in Colorado, playing music together since they were about 14 years old in Summit County. However we are now stationed in Boulder Colorado. The band is driven by heavy bass grooves, and progressive climactic riffs, sure to produce a very powerful live show. Eminence Ensemble has an extensive background in jazz/classical studies which has greatly aided them when it comes to onstage improvisation The music fits many genres ranging from heavy rock/funk all the way to a more modern electronic sound. We enjoy fusing together the older classic rock sound with various types of electronic music. We like to keep the audience guessing from show to show, some shows are very electronic, some shows are more progressive rock sounding and some have an equal balance of both but either way the shows are very full of precise musical layers that produce very intense climactic performance. Some people choose to call the music progressive electronic rock. The Band consists of 1-2 guitars, Bass/bass synth, Keys, Drums, and Auxiliary percussion.
